The directors of Special Interest Holidays are Paul and Henrietta Delahunt-Rimmer who are both retired Royal Air Force officers. Paul was a pilot and operations director, Henri was a nursing sister before becoming an air traffic control officer.
Paul is a management consultant specialising in travel and eco-tourism. As a senior officer in the Royal Air Force he was responsible for the planning and implementation of all Royal and Ministerial worldwide tours on the VC10. In fourteen years of Royal flying he carried out many tours around Africa working in over half the countries on the continent.
Their company Special Interest Holidays was founded in 1999 to offer walking holidays on the remote island of Amorgos in Greece. After many years of going on long safaris in Botswana in 2009 they diversified into this market as consultants. They have now lived there since 2011.
