The dry season (winter) is May to November this period is when you will experience the least problems in travelling. This is also the high season and obviously the most expensive.
June to August are the coolest months and then the temperature starts to rise again. The highest temperature you can expect in June is 25°C (77°F) whereas the hottest month is October where at midday it can reach 38°C (100°F). January and February are the wettest months.
